This rotary disc type dryer is equipped with the rotary discs 13 each having a taper hollow cross section, the nozzle pipe 31 arranged to the region under the vertical axes of the rotary surfaces 11 of the rotary discs 13 or in the vicinity thereof to apply the liquid raw material to the rotary surfaces 11, a scraper 43 for recovering the dry raw material, dried on the rotary surfaces 11 during rotation, from the rotary surfaces 11 and a discharge chute 45.
