Abstract:
To provide a compact and performance-improved rotary drive device capable of reducing variations in a preload to be applied between positions with respect to a circumferential direction of a bearing.SOLUTION: A rotary drive device 100 comprises a motor unit 12 and a bearing 3. The motor unit 12 includes a stator 1 and a rotor 2. The bearing 3 supports the rotor 2 rotatably with respect to the stator 1. The stator 1 includes a wound coil 1C. The rotor 2 includes a stationary magnet 2B for rotating the rotor 2. A first permanent magnet 101 is provided in the stator 1. A second permanent magnet 102 is provided in the rotor 2. The second permanent magnet 102 is configured to apply a preload to the bearing 3 by exerting a repulsive force with the first permanent magnet 101. The coil 1C is disposed between the first and second permanent magnets 101 and 102 and the stationary coil 2B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
