Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a rotated member to be easily turned fully in the whole directions, by supporting a swivelling arm, turned by a reciprocating hydraulic cylinder, around a shaft of the rotated member and removably stopping the swivelling arm to the rotated member by blots. CONSTITUTION:A swivelling arm secures to its arm part 13 a rod 8b of a reciprocating cylinder through a pin 10, and this swivelling arm is secured to a rotated shaft around its periphery by bolts 14 so as to enable the rotated shaft 4 to be driven. When the rotated shaft is turned to an extending and contracting range or above of the reciprocating cylinder, the cylinder, once it is extended to the maximum limit of extension, is contracted by removing the bolt. At this point of time, the bolt is retightened, and similar operation is repeated. Here the cylinder rod, being supported to the swivelling arm, never applies force in the direction of gravity to the cylinder.
