Abstract:
To develop an evaluation testing device for testing corrosion of a refractory which easily performs a test operation under a test condition close to an actual furnace.
In this corrosion testing device of a refractory, an inner face of a rotary drum (4) is lined with a refractory specimen (8), and the rotary drum is heated to a predetermined temperature. Thereafter, a corrosion material is inserted in the rotary drum during rotation. This device comprises an inclination mechanism (29) for inclining the rotary drum, means (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) for supplying the corrosion material installed on one end of the rotary drum, and a discharge hole for discharging the corrosion material installed on the other end of the rotary drum.
