Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor for a rotary drier capable of suppressing the leakage of the charged matter to be dried from a charge port of the rotary drier, and a conveyor cover.SOLUTION: A conveyor 1 inserted into the inner cylinder pipe 23 of a rotary drier 2 is provided, comprising a pair of conveyor covers 13 provided at both the side parts of a conveyor body 11. The conveyor cover 13 covers the side part of the conveyor body 11 from the upper part to the lower part thereof in a circular arc-shape along the inside surface of the inner cylinder pipe 23 and has a shape of narrowing a gap between the side parts of the conveyor body 11 and the inside surface of the inner cylinder pipe 23 without being contacted with the inside surface. Upward movement of the matter X to be dried along the inside surface of the inner cylinder pipe 23 in a rotary direction is promoted since the gap between the side part of the conveyor body 11 and the inside surface of the inner cylinder pipe 23 is narrowed, so that leakage of the charged matter X to be dried from a charge port 22 of the rotary drier 2 can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
