Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of suppressing lowering in efficiency by inhibiting electrical resistance from being increased.SOLUTION: This rotary electric machine 100 includes: a rotor 1 including a commutator 11; and a brush 4 electrically connected to the commutator 11. The brush 4 includes: a brush body 41 which has a sliding surface 411 in contact with the commutator 11 and electrically connected to the commutator 11; and wiring 42 which is composed of a plurality of conductive wires and electrically connected to the brush body 41. The wiring 42 has a thick line part in which the plurality of conductive wires are twisted or braided; and a thin line part 422 which is distributed to the plurality of conductive wires and embedded in the inside of the brush body 41 so as to be distributed and extended to the sliding surface 411 of the brush body 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
