Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve coolability of a coil by cooling a number of portions in a circumferential direction in an annular resin part of a stator in a rotary electric machine cooling device.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine cooling device includes: a rotary electric machine including a stator 14 including an annular resin part 15 for molding a coil end and a rotor 30; and a cooling part 50 for supplying a coolant from an upper side to the annular resin part 15. The annular resin part 15 includes: an annular main body part 15A provided in the stator 14 axially closer to a stator core 16, and a plurality of island parts 21 and 22 axially protruding from a plurality of positions in a circumferential direction of an axially outer end face of the annular main body part 15A. The plurality of island parts 21 and 22 include: a plurality of first island parts 21 having first maximum circumferential lengths L1 and La1; and a second island part 22 which has a second maximum circumferential length L2 larger than the first maximum circumferential lengths L1 and La1, and is formed at such a position that the coolant lands on the outer peripheral surface thereof, and in which the coolant landing on the outer peripheral surface flows in the circumferential direction.
