Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine that is inexpensive and has high assembling accuracy and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An electric motor includes: a rotor core 21; a shaft 3; a commutator; and a mandrel 28. The rotor core 21 includes: a plurality of first communication holes 36; a plurality of openings 37; a plurality of first assembly pieces 38; and a plurality of second assembly pieces 39. In a state where the mandrel 28 is inserted into the first communication hole 36, a first outer portion and a second outer portion are pressed radially inward by the mandrel 28. Thereby, a first inner portion and a second inner portion abut on the outer peripheral surface 3a of the shaft, so that the rotor core 21 is suitably connected to the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
