Title:
ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE AND ROBOT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011205769
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce overall size without reducing assembling rigidity between a rotor yoke and a rotating shaft.

A rotary electric machine 1 includes a shaft 30; a rotor 10 which is equipped with a rotor yoke 40 fixed to the shaft 30 and a magnet 41 for generating torque in the shaft; and a bearing 50 which supports the rotor 10 rotatably. The rotor yoke 40 includes a substantially disc-shaped thin part 40A and a thick part 40B which has an axial dimension larger than that of the thin part 40A, and projects to at least one axial side more than the thin part 40A on the radially inside of the thin part 40A, and is fixed to the periphery of the shaft 30. The bearing 50 is provided on the radial outside of the axially projected protrusion 40Ba of the thick part 40B of the rotor yoke 40 so as to support the thick part 40B rotatably.
