Abstract:
To provide a rotator in which, even in a case where a plurality of permanent magnets are in one hole portion, opposed portions of adjacent magnets in the hole portion can be appropriately insulated.SOLUTION: A rotator of a rotary electric machine includes: a shaft that rotates about a center axis; a rotator core that is fixed coaxially with the shaft; and polyhedron permanent magnets that are housed in a hole portion penetrating through the rotator core in a direction along the center axis. The permanent magnets have a surface portion in which adjacent magnets housed in the hole portion can be opposed to each other in a contact manner. The surface portion has a surface layer section having an electric resistivity value of two times or more an electric resistivity value of the surface portion of the permanent magnet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
