A rotary electric machine 1 includes: a rotor 15 including a plurality of pairs of magnetic poles arrayed in a peripheral direction; a stator 20 arranged oppositely to the rotor 15 in a diameter direction and including a stator core 30 having a plurality of slots 31 arrayed in the peripheral direction and a stator winding 40 comprising at least three-phase phase windings a to l wound around the slots 31; and a terminal board 60 in which first to sixth terminals 71 to 76 for electrically connecting the phase windings a to 1 drawn out of the stator 20 are embedded. At least one-end parts a1 to l1 of the respective phase windings a to l are drawn out of the slots 31 adjacent in the peripheral direction of the stator core 30 to the same direction of an axial direction, and end parts to be inter-phase crossovers 45 out of end parts of the respective phase windings a to l are joined to the first to sixth terminals 71 to 76 of the terminal board 60.
