Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of reducing noises while preventing increase of work time required for manufacturing a commutator.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 100 includes a commutator 10 which has plural segments 11. The commutator 10 includes a dielectric member 12. Each of the plural segments 11 has a first part 40 which is disposed radially outward of the dielectric member 12, and which has a brush sliding plane 41 and a first plane 42 formed at the side radially opposite to the brush sliding plane 41; and a second part 50 which is disposed radially inward of the dielectric member 12, and viewing from the radially outward direction, which has a second plane 51 disposed at a position overlapping with the first plane 42 of the first part 40 of a neighboring segment 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
