Abstract:
To suppress an occurrence of abnormal noise caused by a collision of a brush with a brush holder.SOLUTION: A brush holder 44 that houses a brush 34 has a first side wall portion 50, a second side wall portion 52, and an upper wall portion 54. A rear end face 34E of the brush 34 is pressed to a side of a commutator 26 and a side of the upper wall portion 54 by a pressing member 36. A protrusion portion 66 projecting to be formed toward an internal surface 50A of the first side wall portion 50 located on a downstream side in a rotation direction of an armature 12 among the first side wall portion 50 and the second side wall portion 52. The protrusion portion 66 is in contact with a lower part of a first side face 34A of the brush 34. A gap 68 is formed between the internal surface 50A of the first side wall portion 50 and an upper part of the first side face 34A of the brush 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
