Abstract:
To provide a rotary electric machine which can appropriately use a brush.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine comprises: a commutator 24 provided coaxially with a rotator 23; a brush 30 arranged on an outer periphery of the commutator 24 and conducted with the commutator 24; a bendable conductive member 35 connected to a rear end portion on an opposite side of a contact surface 33 with the commutator 24 in the brush 30; a brush holder 50 accommodating the brush 30 in a state where the brush 30 can contact with the commutator 24; a coil spring 51 accommodated within the brush holder 50 and energizing the brush 30 to the side of the commutator 24; and a rear holder 25 accommodating the commutator 24 and the brush holder 50. The conductive member 35 has a surplus-length part 35A for enabling the brush 30 to shift to the commutator 24 side, and is provided with an insulation wall portion 58 arranged between the brush 30 and the rear holder 25 for preventing the surplus-length part 35A from contacting with the rear holder 25.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
