Title:
ROTARY ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5496709
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent local overheat at an end portion of a stator core, by shaping a ventilating closed circuit of cooling wind at the end portion of the core by mounting an airtight chamber to a back portion of the core of the end portion of the stator core and by opening the one end to a low pressure chamber of a fan. CONSTITUTION:An airtight chamber 6 is mounted to a back portion of a core of an end portion of the stator core 1 stcked through ducts 1a, and the one end is opened to a low pressure chamber 8 of a cooling fan 7 by means of a pipe 9. Thus, the end portion of the stator core 1, which may be subject to local overheat, can effectively be cooled because cooling wind flows as shown in the arrow head in the figure by pressure difference front and behind the cooling fan 7.
