Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve disadvantage of a rotary engine that its fuel consumption is poor even though the rotary engine has a feature of small-size and high output as compared with that of 4-cycle engine.SOLUTION: A 4-cycle engine compresses mixture gas in the same cylinder, ignites it to depress a piston to generate an engine output. However, since the rotary engine has a separate compression chamber and a combustion chamber for mixture gas, a part of the compression chamber of the rotary engine flows cooling water to a water-cooling jacket 10 of a housing 1 to cool it to decrease a pressure of the mixture gas, decrease a pumping loss and improve an execution efficiency of the engine output. A part of the combustion chamber causes exhaust gas to flow to a heating jacket 9 of the housing to heat a combustion chamber 7 with the exhaust heat to restrict reduction in temperature of the combustion gas in the combustion chamber, thereby the reduction in pressure in the combustion chamber is restricted to restrict cooling loss and improve an engine output efficiency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
