Abstract:
To provide a rotary expander in which a sliding loss at a bearing is reduced.
A rotary expander 100 comprises a cylinder 15, a shaft 13, a piston 19, a vane 21, an intake pipe 27, and the bearing 17. The vane 21 partitions a space between the cylinder 15 and the piston 19 into an intake space 25a and a discharge space 25b. The position of the vane 21 in the circumferential direction of the shaft 13 is defined as a reference position. The bearing surface of the bearing 17 has a recess 130 within a range of 90 to 180 degrees in the rotation direction of the shaft 13 when viewed from a reference position.
