To provide a rotary fluid-pressure system that prevents torque decease and seizure of external tooth member due to an acting force based on the pressure of pressurizing fluid acting axially on the external tooth member.
A ring-like internal tooth member 1 with a plurality of internal teeth 2 is fixedly arranged. An external tooth member 4 with external teeth 6 which engage with the internal teeth 2 and are smaller in number by one than the internal teeth 2, is arranged in the internal tooth member 1 in an eccentric state so as to rotate and revolve. Both sides 4a, 4b of the external tooth member 4 are held by slide surfaces 8a, 10a to slide thereon. A plurality of action chambers 12 is formed between the internal teeth 2 of the internal tooth member 1 and the external teeth 6 of the external tooth member 4. Besides, a port 44 corresponding to each of the action chambers 12 is formed on one slide surface 8a. The rotary fluid-pressure system includes a valve mechanism 45 for connecting each of the action chambers 12 and a flow path of a high pressure side or low-pressure side via each port 44 in association with the external tooth member 4 which rotates and revolves. The shape of the opening of a dent 48 having substantially the same shape as that of each port 44 is formed on the other slide surface 10a for each port 44.
