PURPOSE: To provide a rotary hanging lantern with a music box in which the synchronization of on and off of rotation and the using attitude are restricted by making the power supply of a light source identical to a a rotational driving power supply for a music box and decorations.

CONSTITUTION: A music box A is provided with an electric motor 34 as a rotational driving source, and a diaphragm 28 is flipped by a pin 27 with the rotation of a rotary dram 24 and the music box plays music. The tip of a rotary cylinder part 15 is fixed to a rotary disk 14 fixed to a rotary shaft 13 rotated by the music box A and the rotary disk 14 and the rotary cylinder part 15 is rotated in the vertical direction from the upper side to the lower side. A stationary cylinder part 12 is disposed on the outside of the rotary cylinder part 15, and the pattern of decorations is painted on the outside of the stationary cylinder part 12 and the rotary cylinder part 15. A power supply box 16 mounted in the inside of a left disk 1 and a power supply battery 17 is contained in the power supply box 16 to feed the electric motor 34 and a light source 20. The tip of a light source holding cylinder 6 is fixed to the inside of the left disk 1 and the lamp of the light source 20 is installed in the other end of the light source holding cylinder 6.
