Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary heat engine having a simple structure, a fewer number of components and high reliability without using a complicated crank mechanism, and to provide a rotary heat engine-driven power generation device.SOLUTION: A high-temperature combustion gas is generated in a combustor 13. In each of strokes of intake, compression, expansion and exhaust: by first and second sleeve fastening clutches 170, 172 disposed between first and second sleeves 158, 160 of first and second piston rotor bodies 150, 152, respectively, the first and second sleeves are each switched to a locked state and an unlocked state between first and second rotation directions; and by first and second boss fastening clutches, first and second bosses 154, 156 are each switched to a locked state and an unlocked state with respect to a clutch engaging part between the second rotation direction and the first rotation direction. Thereby, simple structures and higher performances with a small size are achieved in a rotary heat engine and a rotary heat engine-driven power generation device.
