This temperature sensing resistor 11 of platinum and the like, which is embedded in the surface layer part of the cooling roll is connected to a resistance temperature converter 8 in a housing through a connector part 12. An A/F converter for converting current into a pulse signal, the resistance temperature converter 8, and a transmitter 10 are connected. The power converter 8 supplies power to the respective units, and the respective units are connected. An antenna member 13 fitted to a side of transmission supporting unit and an antenna member 17 fitted to a side of first housing member 5 transmit the measurement information without making a contact. A power transmission coupler 18 fitted to the side of the transmission supporting unit and a power transmission coupler 19 fitted to the side of the first housing member 5 supply power without making contact.
