Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary kiln device facilitating feeding and discharging of atmosphere gas, performing more accurate sealing, and capable of performing smooth supplying and feeding-out of an item processed and to be processed.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a rotary kiln device including a rotatable and drivable cylinder [kiln main body] and heating means, supply device, and a discharging device. Both ends are provided with circular pipes having smaller diameter than that of the kiln main body and communicated with the inside part of the kiln main body. A screw conveyor having a cylindrical trough for supplying and discharging an item processed and to be processed passes through the circular pipes. An umbrella-like cylinder having an opening capable of feeding or discharging atmosphere gas arranged at the midway part of the cylindrical trough and the circular pipes are sealed. The upper part of the cylindrical trough at the extremity end of the discharging screw conveyor is released and inserted into the kiln main body and a supply plate for supplying the item processed through rotation of the kiln is fixed at this portion within the kiln main body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
