Title:
ROTARY MACHINE FOR NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6174912
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To removably attach a rotary shaft to a roller bearing with ease by constituting the rotary shaft from material having the coefficient of thermal expansion larger than that of an inner race of the roller bearing. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 6 on which a bowl 2 of a centrifugal system extractor 1 is mounted is rotatably journalled on the two upper and lower positions of the shaft by upper and lower roller bearings 10, 11 having the outer races received in a bearing box 12. And the material of the rotary shaft 6 is selected to have the coefficient of thermal expansion larger than that of the inner race of the roller bearing. Further, the rotary shaft 6 and the inner races of roller bearings 10, 11 are set to have such dimensional relationship as they are in loose fit to each other in room temperature.
