Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine which can inhibit self-excited vibration of a shaft during high speed rotation while achieving simplification of a lubrication structure.SOLUTION: A rotary machine 10 includes: a shaft 24 which is rotatably supported by a motor housing 12 through a bearing 18; and a shaft vibration prevention member 40 which is disposed between the shaft 24 and the motor housing 12 and viscoelastically deforms to absorb vibration energy of the shaft 24 when the shaft 24 vibrates. The shaft vibration prevention member 40 has: a fixed part 42 fixed to the motor housing 12; and a viscoelastic part 44 which is held by the fixing part 42 and elastically deforms to absorb vibration energy of the shaft 24 when the shaft 24 vibrates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
