Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machining tool capable of replacing the cutting section of a tool without removing the tool from a machine tool.
SOLUTION: The rotary machining tool is provided with a tool body 12', the cutting section 10' and a fixation securing means. The tool body 12' has a front face, the cutting section 10' has a bearing surface, the front face and the bearing surface are provided so as to detachably contact with each other. The tool body 12' has a shank portion, and the cutting section 10' has at least one integral cutting edge. The fixation securing means is provided so as to act on the cutting section 10' in a direction that the fixation securing means advances toward the front face. The fixation securing means comprises a long pull rod 11' having a slanted plane which is directed backward and a screw 50' which is spirally inserted into a hole of the tool. The hole is slanted to the rotation axial line of the tool.
