Abstract:
PURPOSE: To smoothly transport molds to enhance a productivity by a method wherein a mold lower than an object temperature in an annealing station in a rotary injection molding system is again transported toward an annealing system inlet in a rotary form to be annealed.
CONSTITUTION: In an annealing station 4 provided succeeding to an injecting station, a rotary transport path 13 is provided for transporting a plurality of molds 6 from an inlet toward the same inlet in a rotary form. On the transport path 13, cooling devices 14-21 are disposed. Each of the cooling devices is composed of a cooling block containing a cooling medium circulating inside and having a uniform temperature distribution and provided with a temperature measuring device for detecting a mold temperature. The molds are brought into contact with the cooling devices 14-21 to be annealed. In the vicinity of an outlet of the annealing station 4, a branching stage 33 provided with a temperature measuring device 34 for detecting the temperature of the mold 6 is disposed. A controller judges whether the mold 6 is transported again toward the inlet or toward a molded piece delivery station 5 by comparing the detection temperature of the temperature measuring device 34 with an object temperature, thereafter changing over the transport path.
