Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary operation device capable of obtaining a satisfactory operation feeling by eliminating a difference in sense of touch between an electrification state and a non-electrification state of an electromagnetic actuator.SOLUTION: A rotary operation device comprises: a knob which is rotationally operated; a rotary shaft body which is rotated in response to the rotational operation; and an electromagnetic actuator which generates a click feeling in the rotational operation. The electromagnetic actuator includes: a core in which multiple first teeth and second teeth forming teeth of magnetic substances in a substantially denture mold shape are alternately disposed in an annular shape; a magnet which is coupled to the rotary shaft body in a rotatable manner in response to the rotation of the rotary shaft body and disposed oppositely to the teeth and of which the different magnetic poles are alternately magnetized in a circumferential direction; and a coil which is electrified to magnetize the first teeth and the second teeth into polarities that are different from each other. An auxiliary magnet is provided in at least one of the teeth. The auxiliary magnet is composed of a magnet of which the polarity becomes the same as the magnetic pole of the tooth in which the auxiliary magnet is provided when the coil is electrified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
