Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary operation type electronic component capable of improving rotational operability.SOLUTION: A rotary operation type electronic component 1 has a substrate 2, a body of rotation 3, multiple terminals 4, a mechanism part 5, and a spring 8. The substrate 2 is a resin molding, and has a shaft 21. The body of rotation 3 surrounds the shaft 21, and can rotate with the shaft 21 as a rotation center axis. The multiple terminals 4 are held by the substrate 2. The mechanism part 5 changes an electrical state among the multiple terminals 4 according to a rotation amount of the body of rotation 3. The spring 8 is located between the body of rotation 3 and the substrate 2 in an axial direction of the shaft 21, and applies elastic force, for bringing the body of rotation 3 close to the substrate 2 in a direction parallel with the axial direction of the shaft 21, to the body of rotation 3. In the rotary operation type electronic component 1, the substrate 2 is brought into contact with a part of the spring 8, such that the substrate 2 receives a part of the elastic force of the spring 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
