To provide a rotary pattern variation display apparatus easy to assemble and adjust.
The rotary pattern variation display apparatus is provided with a pattern display member having a second reference point non-slidably engaged with a circular-ring drive body 4 connected to a drive motor 10, a symbol belt support body supporting the pattern display member, a first reference point fixed in a predetermined position, a position detecting means 19 and a second gear 17 having engagement grooves 173 with the same number of an anti-slidable engagement part on one side. A positioning mechanism part 18 rotating integrally and in proximity to one side of the second gear 17 is singly rotatably provided at a stop of the second gear 17 and provided with a collar part 172 to be engaged with the engagement grooves 173 and a part 182 to be detected. The symbol belt support body, the pattern display member, the part 182 and the position detecting means 19 are so provided as to make the first reference point and the second reference point coincide with each other when the part 182 is detected by the position detecting means 19.
