PURPOSE: To provide a rotary plate valve with which a load torque can be reduced largely in operation to be used for controlling opening/closing of a passage and flow at a middle position for automotive engine supply air systems, air conditioning devices, plant pipings, vacuum exhaust devices, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A first blade 201 to move to the downstream side in opening toward a current, a second blade 202 to move to the upstream side toward the current, and a valve body comprising the first blade 201 and the second blade 202 are provide. By forming the first blade 201 in a recessed surface to receive fluid to the current, or the second blade 202 in a protruding surface to receive fluid to the current, thereby a load torque generated by unbalance of static pressures applied to both side parts of the plate-like valve body can be reduced.
