PURPOSE: To arrange polishing teeth to be continued on the circumference of a polishing member so that a polished workpiece can be ceaselessly polished, by providing a recessed part in one butt-fitting end of the polishing member and a protrusive part, which can be fitted to this recessed part, in the other butt-fitting end of the polishing member.

CONSTITUTION: In order to mount a polishing member 4 to a supporter 2, first the polishing member 4 spreads its contour holding it and inserting a cylinder 9 of the supporter 2 into the member 4, thereafter this holding force is released. As the holding force is released, the polishing member 4 contracts its contour by self elasticity, and the internal peripheral surface of the polishing member 4 is adapted to the circumferential surface of the supporter 2. Under this condition, fitting a hook part 5, provided in the butt-fitting end of the polishing member 4, to a cavity 3 on the circumferential surface of the supporter 2 further hooking a folded fall-off stopper piece 13 of the polishing member 4 to a stepped part of the supporter 2, the polishing member 4 is firmly mounted to the supporter 2. Here the polishing member 4, which provides a recessed part 6 in its one butt-fitting end and a protrusive part 7 in the other butt-fitting end to be fitted to the recessed part 6, attains polishing teeth to be arranged continuing on the circumference of the polishing member 4. Accordingly, the polishing member 4, whose polishing teeth rotate integrally with the supporter 2, enables a workpiece to be polished, ceaselessly.
