Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the main cover from deforming to assure its smooth movement, by setting a locking device for regulating the swing movement of the rotary cover to at least one of the transmission case which supports the end of tiller shaft or the side plate.
CONSTITUTION: Side cover 7 is inserted between chain case 3 and the bearing box under the side plate 4 so that it may run around the tiller shaft 20. A locking unit which is composed of a connector 12 and a pin 14 is set to at least one of the transmission case and the side plate 4 to fix firmly the rotary cover integrally consisting of the main cover 5 and the rear cover 6 to the frame to the chain cover or the like on one side of the rotary tilling machine.
