Abstract:
To provide a rotary printing machine and a control method of the same for quickly ejecting continuous paper from a printing unit and minimizing wrapping of the continuous paper around a printing cylinder when the continuous paper breaks during a printing operation.SOLUTION: Based on a sheet break signal transmitted by a sheet break detection device, the rotary printing machine executes: a cutting step of a continuous sheet by a cutting device; a first stop step of a printing cylinder and an out-feed roller corresponding to another continuous sheet that is not broken; a second stop step of a printing cylinder corresponding to the continuous sheet in which a sheet break has occurred; and a speed-up step of the out-feed roller corresponding to the continuous sheet in which the sheet break has occurred.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
