Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a fear of the increase of the pump discharge pressure due to collection of air in a top dead center containment part.
SOLUTION: A first air bleed groove 6 to led air getting mixed with oil in a containment part A, out of a containment part A on the top dead center side is formed in the end part of a communication groove 5a in a manner to intercommunicate the containment part A on the top dead center to the external part of a cam ring 5. The first air bleed groove 6 comprises mainly an upper stream air bleed groove 6a formed in a side part, being the thrust surface of a cam ring 4, along the radial direction of a rotary shaft and intercommunicating the end part of the communication groove 5a to one end of a groove 4g for oscillation aid; and an air bleed groove 6b intercommunicating one end of the groove 4g for oscillation aid to the external part of the cam ring 5. The first air bleed groove leads out air upward.
