PURPOSE: To make two driving force transmittable to a pump part in a selective manner, by installing a first clutch in position between a pump shaft and a first shaft to be rotated by a first driving source while a second clutch in position between a second shaft for a second driving source and the pump shaft, respectively.
CONSTITUTION: At the right end of a drive shaft 1 to be rotated by receiving driving force out of external driving sources including an illustrated engine and the like, there are provided with two units of first and second one-way clutches 50 as shaft couplings, while a claw 51a is formed at the right end of a clutch 51 to which turning force is selectively transmitted by this clutch 50. And, this claw 51a engages a concave part 101a of a second driving source, for example, a pump shaft 101 where turning force is transmitted from a motor, thus the turning force is transmitted to a pump 100. With this constitution aforesaid, before engine starting, the rotary pump 100 is operated in advance by motor driving whereby fuel is able to be preloaded to the pressure required for fuel injection so that starting time for the engine is sharply reducible.
