PURPOSE: To automate a punching process for a paper sheet and to provide a rotary punch cutter which can simplify the structure thereof.

CONSTITUTION: The rotation of a motor 31 is transmitted to a punch cutter 28 through the intermediary of a rotation transmitting means 32, and to a movable member 26 through the intermediary of a power converting means 33 so as to allow the movable member 26 to approach paper sheets in a paper storage part together with the punch cutter 28, and accordingly, the paper sheets are punched with no troublesome work in which the punch cutter 28 is manually moved to and from the paper sheet. Further, since the punch cutter 28 can be rotated and moved to and from the paper sheet by only one motor 31, the structure thereof can be simplified. Further, paper dusts clogged at the punch cutter 28 can be automatically pushed out by a shaft piercing through the punch cutter 28.
