Title:
ROTARY REGENERATIVE HEAT EXCHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3897132
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat transferring element that is resistant to wet corrosion, without progress from bound rust to loosened rust, low cost, with the reasonable strength and excellent in workability.
SOLUTION: The exhaust gas of a boiler is denitration treated by the denitrification equipment and sent to a rotary regenerative heat exchanger as the gas on a high temperature side. After heating the heat-transferring element mounted inside of a rotor 3a, exhaust gas 8 is sent to an electric dust collector to be removed of dust and exhausted from a chimney 5. A forced draft fan sends fresh air as the gas on a low temperature side to a steam air- preheating device. The fresh air being preheated to 60 to 90°C inside the steam air-preheating device is sent to the rotary regenerative heat exchanger. The temperature of the air for combustion 9 that is the gas on low temperature side receives the heat from the heat transferring elements E1, E2 and E3 to be higher temperature and fed to a boiler. The high temperature part of a heat transferring element E1 and the medium temperature part of a heat transferring element E2 of the heat transferring elements are made of low C-5%Cr steel.
