Abstract:

To saw a metal and wood at a proper cutting speed respectively by increasing the tooth pitch, tooth size, or tooth space of sawteeth in sequence in the direction toward the head of a saw blade from a clamp end section.

This rotary saw blade 10 for a metal is provided with a clamp end section or a 'grip' 12 having a nose protruded to the side. Teeth 20 and tooth spaces increased in sequence in the direction toward the head 18 of the blade 10 are formed on the lower narrow side of the blade 10, and the tooth nearest to the head 18 of the blade 10 is formed as a piercing tooth 22. The piercing tooth 22 is utilized for pierce-sawing into the surface of a work, and it cuts into the flat or optionally molded work similarly to a drill when the rotary saw is used.
