Abstract:
To provide a rotary sensor whose reliability in use can be enhanced.
A rotary sensor comprises a housing 2 having an inner space 21; a board 3 placed within the inner space 21 and having a wiring pattern 36 formed on its surface; a magnet 4 mounted on the board 3 to form a magnetic field toward a rotor; a magnetism detection element 5 mounted on the board 3 to detect changes in magnetic field caused by the rotation of the rotor; and an IC 61 mounted on the board 3 to control the drive of the magnetism detection element 5 or to process output signals. A heat-radiating pattern 37 is formed on the surface of the board 3 and in a position where the IC 61 is mounted.
