PURPOSE: To improve the responsiveness by forming a rotary shaft of a large diametric lower cylindrical part and a small diametric upper cylindrical part, and forming a sloped surface or curved surface, symmetric shaped relating to a center axial line to have centripetal action, between the lower cylindrical part upper end surface and a head case ceiling wall internal peripheral surface connected thereto.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary shaft 29 comprises an upper cylindrical part 39 of small diameter and a lower cylindrical part 40 of large diameter. By up/down operation and turning operation of a handle lever, a delivery flow amount and mixed water temperature are controlled. In the case of this handle operation, in the rotary shaft 29, a tapered surface 67 of the lower cylindrical part 40 and a tapered surface 68 in a ceiling wall of a head case 27 are always closely connected, to form no slight clearance therebetween. Consequently, operating force of the handle lever is immediately transmitted, without causing any time lag, to a movable disk valve element 31 through a lever shaft 28 and a disk cap 30, to prevent a play and chattering from being generated in the handle operation. Accordingly the responsiveness and an operating have extremely been improved.
