Abstract:

To prevent a rotary shaft of a power tool from biting a lock member.

A rotary shaft fixing device for the power tool is constituted in such a way that a pair of flat faces 12a, 12b are provided in parallel on the rotary shaft 11, a lock member 14 having locking fringes 13a, 13b corresponding to the flat faces 12a, 12b is arranged in the direction crossing the rotary shaft to move the lock member 14 in the direction crossing the rotary shaft and engage or disengage the locking fringes 13a, 13b with/from the flat faces 12a, 12b in order to fix or release the rotary shaft 11. An inlet 18 and an innermost part 18a of the locking fringes 13a, 13b of the lock member 14 are formed into a fanning-out shape.
