Abstract:
To provide a rotary shaft locking mechanism which locks the rotary shaft, irrespective of a relative phase between a locking piece and a gear.
A locking mechanism 1 includes a gear 11 fixed to a screw shaft 6. The gear 11 has involute tooth. Furthermore, the locking mechanism 1 has a plurality of locking pieces 12-14 with involute-tooth profiled projections 12a, 12b, 13a, and 14a which stop the rotation of the screw shaft 6 by being engaged with the gear 11 and a spring member 15 individually energizing the locking pieces 12-14 toward a locking location engaged with the gear 11. Additionally, the plurality of locking pieces 12-14 are arranged so that engaging phases, when engaged with the gear 11, may be different respectively.
