To provide a rotary switch device of such a structure that a plurality of stationary contacts are fixed to one surface side of a base member made of synthetic resin, that a rotor is installed confronting the mentioned surface side of the base member, and that a movable contact is held with possibility of making and breaking the connection with the stationary contacts in accordance with the turning of the rotor, wherein the core wire of each conductor is prevented from partially becoming imperfectly joined part using a simple electrode shape and joining to the terminal can be established with easiness in working.

Terminals 77-81 formed in approx. U-shaped on the cross-section for fitting of the core wires 120 of conductors 115-119 are installed rigidly on a plurality of bus bars embedded in base members having respective stationary contacts rigidly, and the core wires 120 fitted to the respective terminals 77-81 are joined with them 77-81 by means of thermocompression bonding using an electrode 122 in plane form to pinch by pressure the core wires 120 in the area to the terminals 77-81.
