To provide a rotary switch which is provided with a structure with which it is automatically loaded with general-purpose suction nozzle, which is stably fitted onto a printed circuit board, which is not in danger of breaking down the contact of the switch, and which can be soldered automatically.

A heat-resistant elastic suction part 12 having a U-shaped and having turned-up parts tips of which are folded inward is inserted into suction part mounting holes formed of both sides of a switch body part 11 near its center of gravity and it is fixed, then the upper surface of the suction part 12 is sucked by a suction nozzle 40, and a rotary switch 10 is loaded onto a printed circuit board. The rotary switch 10 can be held without a slant, when the suction part 12 is sucked by the suction nozzle 40, because the suction part 12 is fixed near the center of gravity of the switch body part 11, and a protruding part for positioning can be inserted easily into a receiving hole of the printed circuit board.
