To provide a user-friendly rotary table, even if rotating a table, automatically returning to its original position in the rotary table for chairs.

This rotary table is provided with a top board 1, a strut 2 attached at a position separated from the center of the top board and turnably supported to an armrest of the chair, a first guide member 4 attached at the end of the strut and having a bearing part in its inside, and a second guide member 5 having a shaft fitted in the bearing part of the first guide member. The end of the second guide member has a spiral sliding face along its circumference, at least a part of the end of the first guide member has a projection part sliding down the spiral sliding face of the second guide member. When the top board is turned with a hand, the projection part rises on the spiral sliding face and, when the hand is released from the top board, the projection part slides down the spiral sliding face and stops at the original position.
