Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To balance force applied to a stop member by the draw operation of an inner cable when a throttle valve lever is positioned in the fully opening position, with force applied to the retaining part of an outer tube, by integrally forming on a cover plate the stop member regulating the fully opening position of the throttle lever and the retaining part of the outer tube.
SOLUTION: A swivel 5 to be connected with an inner cable is supported at one end of a throttle valve lever 3 connected to the upper end of the shaft part of throttle valve. A sectional cam plate 6 is formed at the other end of the throttle valve lever 3, and the lower side cam surface of the cam plate 6 is energized and engaged with a floor supported to a cover plate 10 by the force of a return spring. A first column 2 in which a stop bolt regulating the idle position of the throttle valve lever 3 is screwed and a second column 7 for fixing an outer tube are integrally formed at one side edge of the cover plate 10 and the other side edge thereof, respectively. A metallic stepped reinforcing cylindrical body is fitted to a horizontal stepped cylindrical part arranged in the second column 7, and a retaining metal fitting 8 to/by which the outer tube is fitted and retained is screwed around this stepped reinforcing cylindrical body. A lock nut 39 screwed around the retaining metal fitting 9 is allowed to abut to the small diametral end wall surface of the stepped reinforcing cylindrical body so as to be sandwiched between the wall part of the second column 7 and the retaining metal fitting 8.
