Abstract:
To facilitate tightening work of a screw performed by a rotary tool while reliably preventing screw jamming and reducing cost.SOLUTION: A rotary tool (impact wrench) comprises a body having a motor, and a drive switch (trigger 42) provided slidably with respect to the body and changing rotational speed of the motor according to a slide amount. The trigger 42 and the body comprise engaging parts (engaging surface 45a of an engaging member 45 and an engaging part 44c of a switching lever 44) that engage with each other in a sliding direction when a slide amount of the trigger 42 is gradually increased and reaches a predetermined value smaller than the maximum value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
