Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a rotary tool with superhigh pressure sintered compact of high brazing strength between the extreme end part and the shank part.
CONSTITUTION: This rotary tool is formed by brazing the extreme end part 2 integratedly sintering a superhigh pressure sintered compact 6 and the shank part 3 made of super hard alloy to a base material 5 made of superhard alloy. The solder material is silver solder containing Ti of 1-5wt.%. Wettability to the superhigh pressure sintered compact part 6 is improved, and the rotary tool hardly generating breakage is realized.
