Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in a conventional rotary toothbrush in which the surface of teeth is only rotated at right and left and front and back in the teeth brushing, and further, the sheet of a brush material is fitted between a pair of left and right bearing plates attaching the brush material so as not to move the left or right, and thereby it is difficult to remove residue entering the gap of the brush material in the cleaning.SOLUTION: A rotary toothbrush is provided that is configured in a ratchet mechanism, in which it is rotatable when exceeding a constant frictional resistance in the forward movement of teeth brushing and unrotatable in the backward movement thereof, and also, it is unrotatable in the forward movement and becomes rotatable in the backward movement by providing the protrusion and the claw in the reverse direction, by the operation of a semi-circular-shaped protrusion of a guide plate bottom provided inside of a pair of left and right bearing plates of a handle, and of a claw provided in apex of a polygonal rotating shaft to which brush materials are attached.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
