PURPOSE: To make it possible to lower the speed of shifting a material to be burned and to restrict a burning zone by making the inner diameter of a combustion chamber larger than the inner diameter of a preheating/drying chamber and providing a heat insulting plate in a space within the combustion chamber so that heat dispersed from a material to be burned filled layer within the combustion chamber is interrupted.
CONSTITUTION: A main burner body 1 rotates by the actuation of an electric motor 15. A material 4 to be burned which has been shifted to a combustion chamber 3 by a difference in the inner diameter between a preheating/drying chamber 2 and a combustion chamber 3 is agitated and mixed as it sufficiently derives air. Thus, heat transfer is carried out exceedingly satisfactorily. Further, since the inner diameter of the combustion chamber 3 is larger than that of the preheating/drying chamber 2, the staying time of the material 4 to be burned within the combustion chamber 3 is elongated and it becomes possible to sufficiently take a time required for self- sustained combustion. Moreover, since a heat insulating plate 23 interrupts dispersing heat from the surface of a material to the burned filled layer 21 under self-sustained combustion and raises the combustion temperature, the burning zone is restricted to the lower side part of the heat insulating plate 23, and self-sustained combustion for a short time becomes possible.
